At Elizabeth Illustrates, art is an act of hope. Idaho native Elizabeth Orlovich decided to take a risk on herself and pursue her dreams of becoming an artist. Her art focuses on vibrant, joyful, character and story-driven work that stands in defiance of darkness and celebrates purpose. Every piece is created with the intention of spreading joy, acting as a reminder to the viewers that their lives are meaningful. And that whimsy, hope, and joy are things that we are never too old to grow out of.
I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho! I am studying Illustration and Arts Entrepreneurship at BSU. I love creating meaningful stories. And I am an Endometriosis survivor.
Sunset colors symbolize hope to me. It was in 2020-2024 when my chronic disease got to the point of overtaking every aspect of my life. I would try to draw how I was feeling, but focusing on the dark only dragged me down deeper into a pit. I needed hope. During those dark days and up till now, I have found that hope was in the consistency of the sunset and in Jesus Christ.
